QCIM Voluntary Car Free Day - Dec 4th

As the Quezon City International Marathon (QCIM) race organizer, RUNNEX invites everybody to transform the "Killer Highway" into a model for a People-and-Environment-Friendly Avenue.


Executive Runners Club of the Philippines (RUNNEX) is introducing the Voluntary CAR FREE Day along Commonwealth Avenue on 4 December 2011, between 12 midnight to 12 noon.  This is part of their advocacy to promote Climate Change Mitigation by encouraging people to walk, run, bike and be less reliant on fossil fuel for mobility,  "Human Energy as the best source of clean, sustainable, affordable and renewable energy."

RUNNEX has partnered with the Alliance of QC Homeowners Association for this initiative.  Please help cascade this information to your QC homeowners and friends.  If you will not be participating in the race then be part of the Voluntary Car Free Day by either staying home in the morning of December 4th or walk to Quezon City Hall / Commonwealth Avenue and cheer the QCIM runners.

Your participation in this endeavor will immensely contribute to Quezon City's initiative in reducing the city's carbon footprint, and resound to the whole nation that together we can make it happen.
